6. BELT CONVEYOR:
Description:The belt conveyor consists of belt,running over the head pulley and supported by carrying idlers. The carrying/ troughing idler are mounted on stringer frames. The carrying idlers is a composition of three idler rolls forms a trough and fixed on bracket. The return idlers are suspended from stringer frame. The belt is driven by head pulley and the take-up unit is provided at the tail pulley.
The head pulley is keyed to a shaft and the pulley assembly is mounted on antifriction ball bearings located in plumber blocks. The tail pulley is also mounted on ball bearings. The trough/carrying idler are mounted on stringer frame and the frame is supported by several number of stringer post.
The conveyor is equipped with feed chute, discharge chute, skirt board at loading point and is driven by head pulley through worm reduction gearbox which is powered by a motor. MATERIAL OF CONSTRUCTION:
Head and tail pulley: Fabricated from IS-226 plate, properly rolled welded, machined properly.
Shaft:Turned from EN-8 steel round,properly machined.
Idlers: All the carrying and return idlers are made from seamless tube mounted on ball bearing and fixed by suitable brackets. The carrying idler set is a composition of 3 rolls and forms a trough.
Feed and discharge chute: Fabricated from 6 mm thick-226 plate.
Skirt Board:Fabricated from 5 mm thick sheet and equipped with rubber strips at its edge.
Drive:The belt is driven by the head pulley which is powered by a motor through worm reduction gearbox, chain and sprocket or directly coupled to the head drum shaft which depends on application and availability of space.

4. RAW GRINDING MILL-AIR SWEPT TYPE:
DescriptionIt is single compartment type mill and operates in closed circuit with grit separator, cyclone separator, dust collector,I.D.Fan and ducting etc. The cylindrical shell will be fitted with headers and hollow trunion mounted on white metal lined bush bearing located in heavy duty plumber blocks. The mill is driven by a set of girth gear and pinion, helical type reduction gearbox and motor.
Material of Construction:
Shell:The hollow cylindrical shell is made of rolled shell plate welded at its joints provided with flange at both ends.
Liner Plates:Made of manganese steel casting conforming to IS-276 Gr.I having several sections and are fixed with the shell by edge bars and special type of bolts.
Head cum trunion: The heads are of conical shaped ribbed construction cast integral with hollow trunions and are of steel casting, the heads are fastened with shell at both ends. The steel casting confirming to IS-1030 properly machined and highly polished where the bearings are located.
Trunion bearings: Cast steel bearings having white metal lining machine finished and highly polished. The white metal is securely located in plate by dovetailed anchors. Water cooling arrangement is provided in the bearings.
Housing: Made of MS properly machined to secure trunion bearings provided with removable covers. Sole Plates: Adjustable sole plates are provided under the pillow block at fixed and discharge end and made of MS properly machined at its top surface.
Gear and Pinion: The girth is made of steel conforming to IS-2708 Gr. III having machine cut gear teeth profile and pinion is of the forged steel but teeth matched with the girth gear and is mounted on driving shaft.
Pinion shaft: Turned from forged steel, EN-8 steel round mounted on antifriction bearing and carried the driving pinion. The shaft directly coupled with gearbox.
Gearbox & motor: The gearbox will be of helical type directly coupled with the motor & the driven unit mounted on a strongly but fabricated structural base frames.

C. RAW MILL SECTION
3.1 RAW MILL(AIR SWEPT TYPE): Description: It is single compartment type mill and operates in closed circuit with grit separator, cyclone separator, dust collector, I.D.Fan and ducting etc. The cylindrical shell will be fitted with headers and hollow trunion mounted on white metal lined bush bearing located in heavy duty plumber blocks. The mill is driven by a set of girth gear and pinion, helical type reduction gearbox and motor.
Material of Construction: Shell:The hollow rotatable cylindrical shell is made of rolled shell plate welded at its joints provided with flange at both ends.
Liner Plates: Made of manganese steel casting conforming to IS-276 Gr.I having several sections and are fixed with the shell by edge bars and special type of bolts. Head cum trunion: The heads are of conical shaped ribbed construction cast integral with hollow trunions and are of steel casting, the heads are fastened with shell at both ends. The steel casting confirming to IS-1030 properly machined and highly polished where the bearings are located.
Trunion bearings: Cast steel bearings having white metal lining machine finished and highly polished. The white metal is securely located in plate by dovetailed anchors. Water cooling arrangement is provided in the bearings.
Housing: Made of MS properly machined to secure trunion bearings provided with removable covers.
Sole Plates: Adjustable sole plates are provided under the pillow block at fixed and discharge end and made of MS properly machined at its top surface.
Gear and Pinion: The girth is made of steel conforming to IS-2708 Gr. III having machine cut gear teeth profile and pinion is of the forged steel but teeth matched with the girth gear and is mounted on driving shaft.
Pinion shaft: Turned from forged steel, EN-8 steel round mounted on antifriction bearing and carried the driving pinion. The shaft directly coupled with gearbox.
Gearbox & motor: The gearbox will be of helical type directly coupled with the motor & the driven unit mounted on a strongly but fabricated structural base frames.

The first L.T.panel will be suitable for 6600 Volts and second will be suitable for 420 Volts and shall be 3 phase with neutral supply of 50 HZ. the L.T.Panel will be cubical. the detail of enclosure wiring and other specifications will be as per following general specifications:

L.T.PANEL NO. I: This L.T. Panel No. I will have provision only for outgoing feeder for 850 HP(2 Nos.) Ball Mill Motor and Capacitor.
L.T. PANEL NO.II: This L.T. Panel No. II will have provision for the following outgoing feeders : a. Crushing Section b. Raw Grinding Section c. Blending and Storage Section d. V.S.K. Section e. MCC for Cement Mill section f. Plant Lighting(25 KW) g. Workshop and Water supply(25 KW) h. Capacitors(To suit the motor) i Laboratory(30 KW) j. Spare The LT Panels will also be provided with one number ammeter, voltmeter, selector switch and PF meter. All out going feeders shall be provided with one ammeter, one selector switch and one indicating light.
Main Bus Bar : These shall be EC grade aluminum for 1400 amperes.
CONSTRUCTIONAL DETAIL OF L.T.PANEL : a. Material of Enclosure: 14 B.G. thick cold rolled steel b. Compartmentallisation: The entire cubical is fully compartmentalised. Separate chamber being provided for each feeder as well as for vertical & horizontal bus bar together with vertical cable allays and bottom chamber. c. Dust & Vermin Proofing : Heavy duty rubbered gasket will be fitted on all openable cover to make the panel dust & vermin proof. d. Cable Gland Plates : Removable plates are provided on the cable alleys bottom for easy drilling & fixing of cable glands during installation. e. Back Opening : Rear door of suitable dimensions and suitable reinforced are provided in each panel
f. Base Plate : Channel legs or as a complete channel frame with holes for grouting of bolts are fixed to the panel. g. Panel Knobs : The front doors are provided with quick opening cam type knob. Key operated heavy duty twist lockers are provided for rear door. h. Hardwares : All Nuts,Bolts, Washers etc. are high quality galvenised.

9. CONTROL SUPPLY : 110 AC through neutral double wound 440 - 415-400/120-110 volt control transformer of suitable rating.
10. LIQUID ROTAR STARTER :

Liquid Rotor Starter for slipering motors of ball mills will be provided.
TECHNICAL PARTICULARS FOR LIQUID ROTOR RESISTANCE
Starter will be floor mounting free standing type and of dust & vermin proof construction. It will be provided with M.S. fixed & moving electrodes system, M.S.Electrolyte Tank, Mechanism Box, Cable Box Mechanical shorting mechanism to short circuit the resistance. When motor attains full speed, and interlocking arrangements with starter so that main motor cannot be started unless resistance is in fully- in position, having : Motor 850 HP Motor 1000 RPM Voltage 6600 V Frequency 50 Hz

11. L.T.CABLE : 1.1 KV class PVC insulated aluminium conductor power cable will be installed between MCC & motors. All control cables will be of copper of conductor.
12. CAPACITOR : Capacitor for Motors will be installed in panel which will be switched ON/OFF automatically in both LT Panel.
13. EARTHING : GI wire will be provided for motor upto 40 HP and GI strip will be provided for higher rating motor. Suitable each pits will also be provided near MCC Panel.
14. CABLE TRENCHES AND CABLE TRAYS : The cables will be laid in RCC cable trenches in the ground. For cable above ground M.S.fabricated cable trays will be provided.
15. REMOTE OFF SWITCHES : Remote off switches will be provided for all motors, height more than 6 M and far away from MCC room.
