MACHINES FOR TYRE RECYCLING
SHREDDERS
MAC SATURN 52/32

|
HERBOLD RM 1100/2
| Two shaft shredders model RM are used for preliminary size reduction steps in recycling lines, e.g. in front of the pre-washing device at the entry of washing and separation lines. They are also often being used in the volume reduction of voluminous waste that cannot be recycled. Two shaft shredders are suitable for materials with a high amount of harder metal contents and other foreign particles, e.g. tires, the light fraction from car shredders and electric cables. |
| Screw crushers model SZ with one to five shredder shafts for the
pre-crushing of brittle materials (e.g. wood), for the debaling of
pressed bales (bottles, paper). Debaling drums for the generation of a regular material flow if the system is only fed with complete bales. An inclined revolving drum with a diameter of 3 m (115 inches) and a length of 7 m (270 inches), that is equipped inside with shredding elements, opens and destructs the bales (bottles, films, mixed plastics) fed by a belt conveyor. Parts of the drum can be equipped with screen plates for the separation of sand or other inert small particles. To control the output the inclination angle of the drum as well as its rotating speed can be varied |
Pulverizers and fine grinders |
| Our fine grinders model SMF and our disc pulverizers model PU have
been designed for the pulverization of plastic granules, regrind, soft
and semi-rigid materials. The final particle size to be obtained ranges
between 0-1000 microns and 0-200 microns, depending on the type and
configuration of the machines. Our focus and special knowledge centers on the pulverization of soft and rigid PVC, of PE for coating, rotomolding and the textile industry, of cellulose and the production of metal powders, e.g. calcium. |

| The fine grinders model SMF are preferably used for soft, fibrous,
thin-walled and/or elastic materials, e.g. PE drilling and milling
shavings or cellulose sheets. |

Design
The
housing has a classic design with divided side tool tables/columns that are
linked by distance shafts. The distance shafts also take the stator knives
on both sides. The stator knives are held by clamping bars that are fixed
against a hardened replaceable back stop ring to the end shield. This
ensures a very simple and precise mounting of the stator knives on the
cutting circle and so the stator knives cannot get into the fly circle of
the rotor.
The
cutting rotor is designed as an open 5 knife rotor with alternating cross
cutting action. 2 solid flange bearings as self-aligning bearings or roller
bearings, sealed against the grinding chamber by means of a shaft sealing
ring.
Flanges with connections for water cooling.
Screen
insert available as round-hole screen as well as Conidur screen. Mounting of
the screen with hingeable screen basket segments fixed with quick release
clamps. Removal and new installation of the screen insert through a
generously dimensioned maintenance door.
Due
to taperlocks the narrow V-belt drive, pulley and motor pulley are easy to
remove. Two-piece belt guard.
Base
frame
In
welded construction with motor-driven rocky doller switch, suction trough
and vibration pads.
Drive
Three-phase
cage motor, 1500 rpm, protection IP 54, design B3. Drive power: 75 kW.
Safety
devices
All
parts of the machine that must be opened or removed for service are secured
by safety switches.
